Medrio’s SaaS offering is a key component in the pipeline of getting lifesaving drugs to the people who need them. We are currently looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Business Development Director to lead our outside sales efforts in the UK. The perfect candidate for this role has experience in enterprise B2B SaaS sales, solid experience selling sophisticated solutions to clinical trial markets, including CROs, sponsors, biotech, or large pharma/device, and a history of top performance.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Prospect, develop, and close new customers.
  • Establish and build quality relationships, whilst maintaining a superior level of customer service, a proper representation of Medrio in a manner consistent with company principals.
  • Execute on territory plan to deliver maximum revenue potential.
  • Work closely with Customer Success to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Represent Medrio at industry conferences and events.
  • Partner with the Product team to proactively surface client feedback.

Skills:            

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in outside SaaS sales, preferably selling to pharma/CROs.
  • Foreign language proficiency in either German or French a plus.
  • Superior skills in all facets of the sales cycle including prospecting, negotiating, and closing.
  • Understanding of the clinical trial process and experience selling to or working in pharma, eClinical, or related medical fields preferred.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to sell a complex product to sophisticated customers, including MDs, PhDs and others in the clinical research community.
  • Adaptive to change and the ability to learn quickly.

Location: Remote, based from your home office.
