Team Description

Our Business Operations team sets and drives key business initiatives across the company. We complement and support customer success, sales, and marketing teams across three critical areas: business planning, sales operations, and business systems & tools development.

Role Description: 

Medrio is looking for a Sr. Finance Systems Analyst to help us create a best in class financial system. As a Sr. Finance Systems Analyst you will own the vision for Medrio’s financial / business systems and quote to cash process. As part of the Business Operations team, you will be a trusted thought leader to drive: 

  • Operational excellence: Help our leaders run Medrio efficiently, which includes integrating disparate business systems as well as identifying and monitoring critical success metrics.
  • Strategic knowledge & insights: Develop unique insights on our business trends. Disseminate this knowledge across Medrio to inform key decisions and initiatives.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Own the conceptual product that is Medrio’s financial / business systems; partner with finance, IT and business operations resources to deliver a product our finance team loves
  • Own the roadmap for the integration of Medrio’s finance and business systems
  • Translate strategic and tactical KPIs into dashboards that enable data driven decisions
  • Identify issues and opportunities; propose process, data, or systematic solutions
  • Ensure timely, accurate and cost-effective solutions that meet project requirements
  • Maintain our critical finance systems: coordinate system upgrade activity, respond to issues and incidents and provide day-to-day administration of the critical business systems that drive our finance operations
  • Conduct analysis of Medrio systems and financial platforms. Use the latest tools to represent Medrio’s business & technical processes
  • Draw from your experience to recommend changes in development, maintenance and system standards
  • Keep all of Medrio up-to-date on the conversion and implementation of finance solutions

Skills/Areas of Experience:

  • A deep understanding of key financial business processes (Billing, Collections, sales compensation, Revenue Management, Quote-to-Cash)
  • Hands-on Experience with SaaS financial and integration applications like SFDC, NetSuite, Celigo etc
  • Exceptional communication with active listening skills, and ability to convey complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience working with systems that handle sensitive data
  • Project Management capabilities; develop work plans, estimate work efforts
  • Experience with full system implementation life-cycles (analyze, design, build, test, implement, support)
  • 5+ years of experience in design and implementation of vendor software and/or building custom financial applications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • Strong problem solving and analytical/critical thinking skills needed, as well as exceptional interpersonal skills
  • An obsession with performance, user experience and efficiency
  • Experience with Salesforce and Excel is required
  • NetSuite Certification a plus!
